What you will do

• Utilize proprietary AI tools to support and streamline safety assessments like FHA, FTA, STPA, and HARA.
• Perform human-in-the-loop validation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with military and commercial standards.
• Partner with the software product team to provide user feedback and shape platform features and UI.
• Guide premier clients in defining Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Operational Design Domains (ODD).
• Define system safety requirements and track mitigations from design through verification.
• Generate advanced Safety Assessment Reports (SAR) and digital safety cases.

Requirements

• Must have US Work Authorization (Sponsorship is not available)
• 4 to 10 years of dedicated system safety engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with compliance frameworks such as MIL-STD 882E, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or ARP-4761.
• Mastery of traditional analysis techniques (PHA, FHA, FTA, FMECA) and modern methodologies like STPA.
• Experience generating formal Safety Program Plans and Safety Assessment Reports.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Safety Engineering, Robotics, AI/ML, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with autonomous systems, machine learning safety, or behavioral safety.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo.
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, CFSE, or CFSP.
