What you will do
- Conduct functional safety analyses including FMEA, STPA, and SOTIF for advanced vehicle systems.
- Support system design verification and validation activities to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with software, electrical, and vehicle subsystem teams to integrate safety requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including requirements and hazard analyses.
- Identify and mitigate potential failure modes in advanced vehicle components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (or willing to relocate from Europe).
- Proven experience with functional safety in automotive systems (ISO 26262, ISO 21448).
- Familiarity with ADAS or advanced vehicle subsystems.
- Practical knowledge of FMEA, STPA, or SOTIF methods.
