What you will do

• Collaborate with product and system engineering teams to identify and evaluate hazards related to Functional Safety and SOTIF.
• Perform hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA) according to ISO 26262 standards.
• Analyze and evaluate Fault Tolerant Time Interval (FTTI) for identified hazards.
• Conduct inductive and deductive safety analyses for system, hardware, and software components.
• Contribute to the development of the Safety Case and track Safety Performance Indicators.
• Review safety artifacts and ensure alignment on safety processes across internal teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• Degree in Mechanical, Systems, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with an MS or 6+ years with a BS in a relevant technical field.
• Extensive experience with safety analyses including HAZOP, FMEA, STPA, and FTA.
• Demonstrated experience with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards.
• Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) to company or government locations.
