What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain the payment integrations platform, including partner APIs, SDKs, and embedded web experiences.
• Shape and drive the technical roadmap for the Partner Engineering team.
• Develop scalable APIs to support money movements via payment rails like ACH.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Sales to deliver high-impact features.
• Scale the integrations platform while maintaining performance, reliability, and observability.
• Mentor engineers and elevate team standards through code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Java, including Spring, Gradle, and JVM tuning.
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB) and containerization.
• Proven track record of leading high-impact products end-to-end.
• Experience in FinTech and familiarity with major payment rails.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions.
• Experience with observability tools such as DataDog.
• Familiarity with big data platforms like Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform).
