What you will do

• Own backend architecture, including APIs, distributed systems, and data models.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Copilot into the daily engineering workflow to increase velocity.
• Design and deploy scalable production systems with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Implement modern testing, observability, and operational practices to improve system resilience.
• Drive long-term technical direction and mentor engineers across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend or full-stack experience in SaaS or high-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, API design, and backend architecture patterns.
• Strong proficiency with modern AI engineering workflows and tooling.
• Experience building secure, observable, and fault-tolerant systems in production.
• Must be eligible for US-based employment (401k and US healthcare eligibility).
