hirify.global is a Berlin-based tech investor transitioning from co-investments to a direct small-cap buy&build strategy.

What you will do

• Co-design and refine the direct PE strategy, including investment themes, targets, and criteria.
• Source and originate platform and add-on opportunities, leveraging networks and identifying off-market deal flow.
• Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and financial modeling (including LBO), and prepare investment memos.
• Lead and coordinate due diligence (commercial, financial, legal, tax, operational, ESG), structure acquisitions and debt financing, and co-lead SPA/SHA negotiations.
• Support portfolio companies post-acquisition as a non-executive board member, define growth/operational strategies, execute add-ons, and prepare for exits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years hands-on in small- or mid-cap private equity, corporate M&A, or M&A investment banking; strong deal sourcing/origination track record.
• Experience with financial modeling (LBO), valuation, transaction structuring, due diligence, and debt financing.
• Familiarity with SPA/SHA or equivalent deal documentation and negotiating terms.
• Fluent German and English.
• Based in Berlin.
