Salary: $83,000 - $139,000 annually

What you will do

  • Execute and evaluate event strategy to drive brand awareness and demand across US federal and civil government sectors.
  • Lead end-to-end planning for marquee defense and intelligence events, including venue selection, vendor management, and agenda development.
  • Assemble and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure flawless on-site execution and client engagement.
  • Manage event budgets, invoice processing, and reporting on campaign results and ROI using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to align event activities with broader sales plans and corporate strategy.
  • Maintain event calendars and project timelines while troubleshooting last-minute challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing trade shows or conferences.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee) due to export control/ITAR regulations.
  • Proven experience managing events within a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Experience with industry partners such as USGIF, AFCEA, INSA, or Potomac Officers Club.
