Events Specialist

Salary: $55,000–$68,000/yr

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, and internal meetings.
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, AV, and attendee communications.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective event concepts.
• Manage event budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Oversee on-site execution, acting as the primary decision-maker during events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to drive continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Shakopee, MN for hybrid work.
• 3+ years of experience in planning and executing industry events.
• Proficiency with event management and registration platforms like Cvent or Eventbrite.
• Strong project management and vendor relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, and CRM tools.

• Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or related field.
• Experience in the medical device or hearing industry.
• Background in project management or administrative roles.
