Event Specialist

TL;DR

Salary: $75,000–$85,000

What you will do

• Own the planning and execution of conferences, tradeshows, and internal events.
• Manage the full planning process, including meetings, stakeholder communication, and attendee journeys.
• Serve as the onsite lead for internal and external attendees, vendors, and speakers.
• Facilitate logistical functions such as service orders, shipping, lead processing, and promotional orders.
• Maintain budget ownership, including building, reconciling, and forecasting for assigned programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align event activities with organizational goals and market landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in event coordination.
• 5+ years of experience in customer service.
• Must be based in Chelmsford, MA and able to work in-office at least 4 days a week.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification.
• Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) certification.
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
