What you will do

  • Perform preventive maintenance on CMP Polisher and Scrubber equipment, specifically AMAT Mirra, AMAT Mesa, and LAM OnTrak tools.
  • Monitor and analyze tool performance data to recommend improvements to maintenance procedures.
  • Rebuild and clean complex subassemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Manage chemical handling tasks and ensure a consistent inventory of consumables.
  • Coordinate equipment status and provide detailed written updates to engineers and technicians across shifts.
  • Maintain organized and safe workspaces in accordance with 5S principles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
  • 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills, including the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) in a manufacturing context.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 35 lbs.

Nice to have

  • 3–5 years of wafer fab experience focused on production equipment.
  • Completion of 12+ credit hours toward an Associate degree in electronics from an accredited institution.
