First Line Support (FLS) Production Engineer (Semiconductor)

First Line Support (FLS) Production Engineer (Semiconductor): Providing first-line troubleshooting and technical support for lithography machine production to ensure uninterrupted output with an accent on structured problem-solving and SPC tracking. Focus on minimizing downtime in a cleanroom environment, executing engineering test plans, and driving continuous process improvement.

Location: Onsite in Wilton, CT, US. Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.

What you will do

• Provide real-time troubleshooting support in a cleanroom environment (75% of time) to minimize downtime and optimize output.
• Develop and enhance Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) based on troubleshooting results.
• Create Engineering Test Plans (ETPs) and Disturbance Orders (DOs) for escalation and tooling maintenance.
• Maintain SPC tracking for tooling and products to ensure data-driven process control.
• Participate in the DRB/MRB process and manage E-Scraps to ensure traceability and accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering alignment with production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering with 2+ years of production environment experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in the same fields with prior internship experience.
• Legally authorized to access controlled technology according to United States Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work second shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:30pm.
• Physical ability to work in a cleanroom environment and lift up to 35 lbs.

• Exposure to mechatronic systems combining mechanics, electronics, and control systems.
• Ability to analyze MATLAB runs and plot data from databases.
