What you will do

• Develop and optimize machining processes for new and legacy aerospace components.
• Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions meeting rigorous engineering specifications.
• Define operation sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements for precision fabrication.
• Troubleshoot shop floor issues related to tooling, workholding, and inspection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing problems and enhance producibility.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or Associate degree with 6+ years, or High School Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in CNC Programming using CAD/CAM software.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation.
• Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, NY.

Nice to have

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Background in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.
