Team Manager - Registered Products (Operations): Manage day-to-day operations for a functional team, ensuring transaction processing volumes and service level opportunities are met with an accent on compliance, risk controls, and operational escalations. Focus on supervising workflows, driving process improvements, coaching employees, and supporting product/service implementations across registered products and related operations.

Location: Toronto Office (483 Bay Street, Toronto) until approximately late 2026; then Mississauga office (3 Robert Speck Parkway). Flexible hybrid schedule.

Salary: $82,000 to $117,000 annually (base salary and discretionary performance bonus).

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) provides trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support services for Canadian brokerage firms and Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.-based firms.

What you will do

  • Oversee daily operations for assigned teams, ensuring completion of daily volumes across queues and meeting service level opportunities.
  • Review associate transaction work, identify processing errors/trends, and recommend plans to correct issues.
  • Analyze work flow and drive process improvements, including recommending/implementing actions and training for associates.
  • Handle escalations and troubleshoot cases to resolution.
  • Support compliance and risk management through supervisory procedures, risk/exposure oversight, and audit remediation.
  • Lead people management: set measurable goals, maintain development plans, provide coaching/feedback, and contribute to business/resource planning and projects.

Requirements

  • Work authorization for Canada is required.
  • University degree (Bachelor’s) or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in financial services.
  • 3–4 years progressive experience in operations or customer service within the brokerage or financial services industry.
  • Reconciliation experience.
  • System experience (e.g., Dataphile, CDS, DTC, Citibank, Cannex, Arrow) and strong Excel skills; settlement experience in CDS, DTC, and foreign trade settlement.

Nice to have

  • 1+ years coaching, training, mentoring, and leading people.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • French language proficiency.
