What you will do

• Design, implement, and test production-grade diagnostics for high-speed digital boards and ASICs.
• Develop manufacturing tests to validate mass production of data center networking products.
• Perform board bring-up and port initial software layers.
• Isolate and perform root-cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
• Coordinate with hardware engineering teams on schedules and feature delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical vision for projects.

Requirements

• BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python, Perl, or TCL.
• Strong knowledge of embedded programming and Linux/Unix OS internals.
• Deep understanding of computer networking and OSI layers (TCP/IP).
• Experience with interconnecting buses and interfaces such as PCIe, I2C, XAUI, and Ethernet drivers.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
