What you will do

• Design and maintain FPGA logic for server-class platforms using Intel/Altera devices.
• Implement interfaces between FPGA logic and platform components like BMC, BIOS, and CPLDs.
• Support board bring-up, hardware validation, and cross-layer system debugging.
• Improve platform robustness, telemetry, and fault handling for production deployments.
• Collaborate with silicon vendors and ODMs to define requirements and drive technical enhancements.
• Contribute to automation workflows and technical documentation for FPGA architecture.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or eligible to access export-controlled information.
• 5+ years of professional experience in firmware, embedded systems, or FPGA development.
• Strong proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog for RTL development.
• Strong proficiency in C or C++ for low-level firmware and platform integration.
• Experience with board bring-up, hardware validation, and system-level debugging.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, and PCIe.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating FPGA with BMC firmware, Redfish, or IPMI.
• Familiarity with lab tools like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG.
• Experience scripting in Python or Bash for validation and automation.
• Prior ownership of firmware features deployed in hyperscale environments.
