What you will do

• Develop safe and efficient embedded software for state-of-the-art sensing systems using C++.
• Design and optimize in-vehicle networks to provide a common timebase for autonomy software.
• Implement and test full-stack software within resource-constrained environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of hardware and system engineers to ensure product success.
• Maintain the operating system, vehicle interface, and security for L1/L2/L3 compute clusters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE, or Robotics with 4+ years of experience (or Master's/PhD).
• Strong experience in embedded applications and systems using C++.
• Proficiency in network communication protocols, physical layers, and bandwidth characteristics.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN, and experience with automotive-grade Ethernet switches (Marvell/Broadcom).
• Experience with multi-processor SoCs and a test-first design mindset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis

Nice to have

• Modern C++ skills and understanding of time-sensitive networking (TSN).
• Experience developing Linux device drivers (Ethernet, GPU, PCIE, UFS, eMMC, NVMe).
• Knowledge of Yocto, OpenEmbedded, or Buildroot.
• Technical leadership experience in automotive production.
• Experience with IEEE802.1AS and Linux PTP.
