What you will do

• Define, develop, source, and qualify OEM power supplies to meet product and market requirements.
• Characterize new power supplies through hands-on laboratory work.
• Design and support dual grid and redundant AC or DC power systems and PCB power distribution layouts.
• Collaborate with global vendor engineering teams to lead projects from concept through production.
• Ensure power distribution systems meet all national and international regulatory standards.
• Write technical reports and communicate issues to power teams, software engineers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in power supply development.
• Strong knowledge of AC-DC & DC-DC design issues and system-level power distribution.
• Experience sourcing power supplies ranging from 100 Watts to 3000 Watts.
• Experience with regulatory processes for designing and certifying power supplies in commercial electronics.
• Must be based in Santa Clara, CA, USA

Nice to have

• Experience with SPICE simulations.
• Experience with custom product development.
