What you will do

• Own the quality of analyst output across ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO, NYISO, and ISO-NE, including forecast accuracy, commentary depth, and responsiveness to customer questions.
• Strengthen relationships with key North America accounts by delivering tailored, proactive market intelligence aligned to customer portfolio context.
• Drive team transformation from a centralized, manual operation to a customized advisory model, including sequencing change and improving coverage and responsiveness.
• Define and execute the MI team automation agenda by partnering with analysts, data scientists, and engineering to systematize workflows.
• Recruit, develop, and retain senior market analysts; revise career frameworks and collaborate on compensation, benchmarking, and retention.
• Contribute to Trading Analytics product strategy and roadmap by connecting day-to-day market experience to longer-horizon product improvements; travel across the customer footprint for in-person collaboration.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience in North American power market analysis, forecasting, or trading, with expertise across multiple ISOs and direct exposure to desk environments where analysts informed live market decisions.
• Strong understanding of day-ahead, real-time, and congestion dynamics.
• About four years of experience leading a team of three or more analysts or researchers, with a track record of developing people.
• Experience collaborating directly with customers (traders, asset owners, and retailers) as a trusted advisory voice.
• Familiarity with technology and tooling decisions, including forecasting methodologies and modeling platforms.
• Ability to engage in detail with product and engineering teams on automation priorities and what to systematize.
