TL;DR

Research Director (B2B Technology): Leading the Channels and Partner Programs research in North America to drive growth across subscription and custom research offerings with an accent on strategic evolution and high-quality deliverables. Focus on managing analyst teams, conducting high-level industry research, and building senior executive relationships.

Location: Hybrid (Portland, OR) - Must work in-person three days a week or more

Salary: $180,000 - $190,000

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a global team of analysts to ensure high-quality research delivery and personal development.
  • Develop and execute the direction and strategy for the Channels and Partner Programs research portfolio.
  • Conduct hands-on research to produce credible, high-quality reports and presentations that provide actionable insights.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and represent the company as a keynote speaker at major industry events.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and PR teams to identify and capitalize on business development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a professional network of industry contacts and opinion leaders.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from the Portland, OR office.
  • Experience as an industry analyst, in market research, or within a partner marketing role.
  • Deep understanding of channels and partner ecosystems with the ability to form original, compelling opinions.
  • Proficiency in quantitative research, including building and enhancing market forecasts and trackers.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for engaging and influencing C-level executives.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
