Salary: $115k - $145k base + 10% annual bonus

What you will do

• Research utility avoided cost filings and methodologies to support residential capacity pricing strategies.
• Monitor state regulatory proceedings and utility dockets to identify market opportunities and barriers for VPPs.
• Translate complex regulatory and policy findings into actionable business insights for Revenue and Sales teams.
• Support policy engagement through filings, comment letters, and stakeholder processes to expand market access.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with utility contacts, regulators, and policy stakeholders.
• Report on VPP-relevant policy developments and their impact on the company's go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in energy regulation, energy policy, or utility program design.
• Strong knowledge of energy market structures, FERC, state PUCs, and avoided cost methodologies.
• Ability to connect regulatory and policy developments to revenue and market strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating technical policy language for non-specialists.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future immigration sponsorship.
• Experience working collaboratively across functional teams in an organized and self-directed manner.

Nice to have

• Experience with avoided cost analysis, capacity market mechanics, or utility integrated resource planning.
• Familiarity with virtual power plants (VPP), demand response programs, or distributed energy resources (DER).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup or technology company environment.
