What you will do

• Collect and analyze large datasets related to US power markets to support fundamental model development.
• Develop internal processes to monitor policy changes and economic shifts impacting commodity prices and renewable asset valuations.
• Construct custom data analyses and visual reports to reveal emerging market trends.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined market intelligence inquiries.
• Maintain and enhance internally developed data management and analysis tools.
• Present competitive insights and strategic recommendations to internal management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences.
• 2 years of experience in production cost models (AURORA, PLEXOS, or PROMOD).
• 2 years of experience in US regional power systems, commodity price trends, and renewable asset valuation.
• Proficiency in designing automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with statistical methods including regression analysis and time series forecasting.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify employer).
