TL;DR

Head of Implementations (ERP): Leading and scaling the customer onboarding function for an AI-native ERP platform with an accent on methodology development, team leadership, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on driving down time-to-value, optimizing implementation playbooks, and bridging the gap between Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure long-term retention.

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site)

Compensation: $220,000 – $300,000

What you will do

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of Implementation Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Own the end-to-end implementation methodology, including configuration, data migration, and user training.
  • Develop and maintain scalable implementation playbooks, templates, and documentation.
  • Partner with Sales on pre-sales scoping and ensure seamless handoffs at close.
  • Create a feedback loop with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap based on field insights.
  • Monitor and report on implementation KPIs such as time-to-live, CSAT, and team utilization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or ERP implementation.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing implementation or solutions teams.
  • Hands-on experience implementing platforms like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, or SAP.
  • Deep accounting fluency with the ability to advise CFOs and Controllers on complex workflows.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and mitigate risks.
  • Must be based in San Francisco, CA and able to work in-office.

Nice to have

  • CPA or equivalent accounting credential.
  • Background in Big 4, national accounting firms, or management consulting.
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments.
  • Familiarity with ASC 606, multi-entity consolidation, or intercompany accounting.
