What you will do
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot CNC-based equipment electrical issues and resolve electrical faults.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and associated power/control systems.
- Support FANUC robotics cells, including safety circuits and end-of-arm tooling.
- Install and maintain motors, VFDs, servos, encoders, and motor control systems; diagnose issues on presses, CNC machines, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, one-lines, and machine documentation; build and install control panels.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, document work, manage the PM program (Limble), and maintain electrical inventory and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman license recognized by the state (Wisconsin plus).
- 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems from low voltage through 600 volts.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and strong troubleshooting skills in power and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Ability to safely perform LOTO, confined space, hot work, and elevated work; must establish employment eligibility and pass background checks and required pre-employment testing (respirators required, including pulmonary function and fit tests).
