What you will do

• Support maintenance technicians in repairing equipment and improve reliability of production systems.
• Optimize production equipment and automation.
• Perform hardwire design, programming, and commissioning of automation systems and production equipment.
• Use CAD, PLC, HMI, vision, motion, and robotics software for machine support, design, and commissioning.
• Specify and procure hardware and equipment; design and evaluate safety systems.
• Evaluate field installations, recommend design modifications, and supervise 2–10 skilled trades labor and external contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
• Knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC machine controls, robotics, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement techniques.
• Must not require sponsorship for employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas (now or in the future).
