What you will do

• Perform maintenance and testing of low/medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
• Maintain higher-voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine-driven generators.
• Maintain electrical systems for energy-from-waste boilers and air pollution control systems, including pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, and refuse cranes.
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS instrumentation and facility flow/pressure/temperature/level instrumentation, including transmitter devices and flue gas analysis equipment.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, and repair Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and historian devices; complete maintenance records.
• Carry out preventative maintenance (routine calibration, thermography, ultrasonic testing) and participate in plant shutdown work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical or apprentice training (preferred).
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
