Automation Technician

Salary: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, configure, and program PLCs and HMIs for processing equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems including conveyors and mills.
• Calibrate sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
• Develop and update automation documentation, including electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize system performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and implement reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems.
• Must be able to work onsite in Le Sueur, MN and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs and working in outdoor conditions.
