Automation Technician: Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems and equipment within a raw material quartz processing facility with an accent on PLCs, HMIs, and industrial sensors. Focus on ensuring system reliability, performing preventive maintenance, and optimizing processing equipment performance in a manufacturing environment.
Location: Must be based in Le Sueur, MN (Onsite)
Salary: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour

What you will do
- Install, configure, and program PLCs and HMIs for processing equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems including conveyors and mills.
- Calibrate sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
- Develop and update automation documentation, including electrical schematics.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize system performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and implement reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems.
- Must be able to work onsite in Le Sueur, MN and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs and working in outdoor conditions.
