What you will do
- Establish and embed the Supplier Management Framework and contribute as a subject matter expert.
- Develop supplier management guides/templates and deliver training to Relationship Managers on best practices.
- Standardise supplier management techniques, maintain a supplier management register, and collaborate on Exit Plans.
- Support supplier performance implementation and measurement via the Procurement platform (Marketplace).
- Facilitate and attend Quarterly Business Reviews for Tier 1 suppliers; support governance and escalation for service/scope/quality/cost issues.
- Run a Supplier Management forum and Community of Practice; collaborate with Technology Category Managers across the procurement lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar supplier management role (less years considered with the right level of knowledge).
- Knowledge of supplier management processes across the supplier lifecycle.
- Experience managing IT suppliers and working with IT leadership teams.
- Extensive understanding and practical use of contract and supplier management principles.
- Ability to influence others and build relationships across country boundaries.
- Analytical, fact-based approach with delivery focus and commitment to agreed timescales.
Nice to have
- MCIPS or an SRM qualification.
- Knowledge of financial or insurance industries and their regulatory requirements.
