Commercial Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead commercial teams on major construction projects.
• Take full responsibility for the commercial performance of projects.
• Develop commercial strategies and lead contractual negotiations.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract terms.
• Prepare management accounts and liaise with senior management.
• Handle procurement for large-value contracts and manage claims and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or similar (2:1 or higher preferred).
• Membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior commercial position with a UK main contractor.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC and JCT standard forms of contract.
• Flexibility to travel across the UK and be away from home Monday to Friday.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
