What you will do
- Provide L2 support for production applications to ensure minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor system health using tools like ITRS and respond to alerts.
- Execute complex SQL queries and perform data validation in Oracle databases.
- Manage jobs, processes, and batch executions using Unix/Linux commands.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including advanced queries, joins, and indexing.
- Experience with Oracle Database troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting and log analysis.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Experience with monitoring solutions like ITRS.
- Ability to communicate technical updates to business users and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Understanding of batch processing and scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M.
