TL;DR
Revenue Accounting Senior Analyst (US GAAP/SEC Reporting): Supporting HPE’s revenue accounting function through transaction analysis, financial reporting, and interpretation of complex accounting requirements with an accent on revenue recognition, embedded leases, and SEC compliance. Focus on documenting accounting conclusions, developing policies, leading process improvements, and preparing executive-level revenue reporting materials.

Location: Hybrid, with an expectation to work an average of 2 days per week from an hirify.global office in Texas, United States

Salary: USD 105,500–243,000 annual base salary in Texas, United States; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

  • Support hirify.global’s revenue accounting function and analyze revenue recognition issues and transactions.
  • Interpret U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance for material, complex, and unusual transactions or agreements.
  • Prepare accounting position memoranda and support reviews with management and external auditors.
  • Analyze new accounting and disclosure requirements, update company policies, and support implementation.
  • Prepare revenue-related materials for Executive Leadership and support SEC and corporate reporting initiatives.
  • Lead process improvement and policy development initiatives and facilitate accounting training for hirify.global personnel worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field; CPA, MBA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, or typically 6+ years as a financial analyst.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis, including revenue accounting and embedded leases.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP disclosure requirements and SEC reporting guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, communication, influencing, teamwork, and business application skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Good project management skills and strong business acumen.
