Salary: $125,100 – $210,300 annually (location-dependent)

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end compensation strategy, including plan architecture and performance metrics.
  • Lead scenario modeling to evaluate tradeoffs across cost, risk, and behavioral incentives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Finance, HR, and Data teams.
  • Establish performance frameworks, including quota setting and target-setting methodologies.
  • Influence sales strategy by identifying trends and opportunities through data-driven insights.
  • Ensure the integrity and scalability of compensation data systems and reporting.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 8–10+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or finance.
  • Proven ability to own compensation design end-to-end.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of sales performance metrics and incentive structures.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex analyses into business insights.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a lead or principal-level individual contributor role.
  • Familiarity with compensation systems like Xactly, CRM platforms, and BI tools.
  • Experience working in high-growth or scaling sales organizations.
