What you will do

• Lead technical direction and execution for fiat-to-crypto features and payment infrastructure.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across backend, frontend, desktop, and mobile stacks.
• Build secure, scalable systems connecting users to third-party payment service providers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to ship cross-platform features.
• Own architectural decisions impacting revenue-generating user flows.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and performance of money movement services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience in a Staff or equivalent role.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React Native.
• Demonstrated success setting technical direction and driving impact across multiple workstreams.
• Experience leading projects and making architectural decisions across web, iOS, and Android.
• Must be based in Canada, LATAM, or the United States.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in remote-first environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Background in fiat on/off-ramp systems, DeFi, or financial infrastructure.
• Understanding of Web3 fundamentals, wallets, and the MetaMask ecosystem.
• Familiarity with mobile-first development and cross-platform architecture.
