Software Developer (Fintech)

Location: 100% remote within Canada; Toronto office location with remote, hybrid, and in-office options

Salary: CAD 101,000–118,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus

What you will do

• Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document applications.
• Build and support hirify.global’s web properties and core transfer agency and workflow systems.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives and future-state technology design.
• Work across backend and frontend development using the company’s technology stack.
• Ensure application security and support production releases.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and Scrum teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Working knowledge of React or Angular, Java, Spring or Spring Boot, REST or SOAP APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and SQL or PL/SQL.
• Hands-on DevOps experience and knowledge of the complete SDLC through production release and support.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, independent working ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Investment or mutual fund experience.
• Experience using artificial intelligence to solve problems creatively.
