Technical Lead (Fullstack)

Location: Must have current work authorization for Canada. Role is based in Toronto (moving to Mississauga in late 2026) with flexible hybrid/remote options.

Salary: $135,000–$152,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of technology solutions and continuous improvements across the application landscape.
• Modernize core systems by evolving legacy platforms toward scalable and resilient architectures.
• Partner with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to meet technical and business objectives.
• Break down complex initiatives into deliverables, providing accurate estimates and technical recommendations.
• Assess code quality and architecture alignment to ensure secure and maintainable solutions.
• Support application portfolio reliability, including participation in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a fullstack developer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node or Java/Spring Boot on the backend, and TypeScript/React/Angular on the frontend.
• Strong experience in system design and architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience working as a team lead.
• Experience working within the financial industry.
