TL;DR

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of 3–6 engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
- Write and review code to unblock the team and demonstrate best practices in TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define technical direction and balance quality with business objectives.
- Design scalable UI applications and backend APIs to process complex blockchain data.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and provide system context to new hires.
- Integrate AI coding assistants into the daily workflow to improve team productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience with frameworks such as NestJS or Redux.
- Architectural mindset with a track record of delivering scalable end-to-end technical initiatives.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and integrate AI tools into development workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with data visualization libraries for network graphs or complex data flows.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS Serverless, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
- Interest or experience in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
