Engineering Lead (Fullstack/Web3)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–6 engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
• Write and review code to unblock the team and demonstrate best practices in TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to define technical direction and balance quality with business objectives.
• Design scalable UI applications and backend APIs to process complex blockchain data.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and provide system context to new hires.
• Integrate AI coding assistants into the daily workflow to improve team productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with frameworks such as NestJS or Redux.
• Architectural mindset with a track record of delivering scalable end-to-end technical initiatives.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and integrate AI tools into development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization libraries for network graphs or complex data flows.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS Serverless, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
• Interest or experience in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
