TL;DR
Staff Software Engineer (Java/Fullstack): Developing and documenting complex multi-tier solutions and scalable high-performing applications with an accent on microservices architecture and event-driven programming. Location: Hybrid in Bellevue, WA, USA (Office attendance required 2-3 days a week)
Salary: $161,138 – $210,300 per year

What you will do
- Develop, test, and document complex software programs and multi-tier scalable applications.
- Build RESTful web services using Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Maven for microservices architecture.
- Implement event-driven programming with Kafka and manage data through Spring Data, JPA, and JDBC.
- Design network architecture focused on scalability and performance, integrating machine learning and generative AI models.
- Develop APIs, apply test-driven development (TDD), and resolve multi-threading and concurrency challenges.
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development and cloud SDK integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns.
- Experience with C#, Python, Ruby, or C++.
- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB.
- Must be based in or be able to work from the Bellevue, WA office.
