What you will do
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team (5–10 direct reports and 25+ indirect reports) to achieve measurable sales goals.
- Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans and review district plans, providing feedback to drive progress.
- Build and maintain business partner relationships across the territory for residential and commercial accounts.
- Oversee sales strategy development and execution, including an excellent sales process to support team targets.
- Collaborate with operational leadership (distribution centers and FabShops, if applicable) and initiate cross-functional support for high-priority initiatives.
- Conduct one-on-ones, team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching/education to improve selling skills and performance.
Requirements
- Required: B2B sales experience and building materials sales experience.
- Required: 10+ years of management experience, including feedback, performance management, and employee development.
- Required: 15+ years of sales industry experience.
- Required: Ability to present to senior and executive leaders; strong business knowledge and financial acumen.
- Required: Proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides); Salesforce preferred; Concur preferred.
- Travel: 80% local travel to customers; ability to work extended hours, evenings, overnights, and weekends; valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.
