TL;DR

Vice President, Sales (B2B Events): Leading strategic growth initiatives and revenue performance across a portfolio of high-impact B2B trade events and media brands with an accent on business development, account management, and sales strategy. Focus on building high-performing teams, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving profitability through data-driven decision-making.

Location: Must be based in or near Irving, TX, with a hybrid work requirement (in-office 3+ days/week).

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 + commission.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sustainable growth across events and media.
  • Take full ownership of revenue performance, including forecasting and managing revenue streams.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales leadership teams to exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Oversee sales operations, including CRM management, pipeline tracking, and budget allocation.
  • Foster a collaborative sales culture and drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in events or media, leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proven record of exceeding revenue targets and managing high-value accounts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor diverse teams.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA.
