What you will do

• Architect and build platform capabilities powering the Apache Iceberg zero-copy data lake solution.
• Unify real-time and analytical data from core operational business applications without data duplication.
• Develop high-performance services for transactional application engine data exposure.
• Ensure strict consistency, advanced metadata management, and schema evolution.
• Collaborate on multi-cloud data accessibility across AWS and GCP environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Big Data Platform Architecture, or Distributed Systems.
• 5+ years of production-level experience in Java.
• Proven expertise with large-scale data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Trino.
• Strong working knowledge of modern open table formats such as Apache Iceberg and Parquet.
• Experience deploying and tuning data services within AWS and GCP cloud ecosystems.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• Deep understanding of database technologies, ACID properties, and query execution plans.
• Experience with production resiliency, monitoring, and debugging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Kibana.
