TL;DR

Engagement Consultant (Insurance): Supporting a book of business to drive growth, retention, and convergence efforts with an accent on multi-channel engagement strategies and wellbeing consulting. Focus on developing custom RFP support, conducting finalist presentations, and identifying opportunities to expand employee engagement.

Location: Must reside in CT, MA, NY, or VT and be able to work in a hybrid model (at least 1 day a week in office)

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year

What you will do

  • Manage a client-facing book of business, supporting engagement and education efforts as part of a broader account team.
  • Develop and execute year-round, multi-channel engagement strategies beyond open enrollment and provide utilization reporting.
  • Support the sales process through custom RFPs, prospect meetings, and finalist presentations.
  • Increase strategic wellbeing consulting knowledge to expand employee engagement regarding population health.
  • Coordinate with local market sales and retention leadership to ensure regional nuances are addressed.
  • Disseminate best practices and training from the National Engagement team across market infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, brokerage, or a relevant field.
  • Experience within communications, population health, wellbeing, or employee experience.
  • Proficiency in using Canva and Simplebooklet.
  • Must reside in CT, MA, NY, or VT.
  • Ability to be in office at least 1 day a week and willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
