TL;DR
Major Account Manager (Enterprise Networking Sales): Drive consultative selling and solution development for a targeted list of Fortune 500 enterprise accounts, building and closing large “big bet” deals across the Arista product portfolio. Focus on account planning and demand generation, aligning year 1–3 business priorities, and navigating contracting/resale requirements while coordinating internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
Location: Germany (home working / field based); currently resident in Germany (no relocation)

What you will do
- Sell and develop solutions for large enterprise customer needs across a small list of targeted Fortune 500 accounts.
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities across Data Centre and Campus Networking, including cloud-based Wi-Fi and PoE switches, routing, Cloud Vision (automation & telemetry), and network monitoring/identity management solutions.
- Build productive relationships with key personnel and external partners within assigned accounts.
- Create and execute targeted account plans with partner managers and the sales engineering team.
- Generate customer demand through pre-engagement planning, research, and solution alignment.
- Manage and align year 1–3 business priorities and create territory-aligned marketing plans.
Requirements
- Location: currently resident in Germany; no relocation
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience focused on developing large major Fortune 500 customers in the German market.
- Fluent German and English are essential
- Working knowledge of selling networking equipment and solutions (routers, switches, SDN, SD-WAN, campus networks, network virtualization, NFV) and/or data center and network automation solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to lead internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to navigate end-user requirements through contracting and resale processes.
