Salary: $18.50–$22.00 Hourly

What you will do

• Operate drill presses, lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment.
• Manage the application of turning, plunge, and form tools.
• Utilize power hand tools, sanders, and bead blasters for finishing tasks.
• Operate power band saws and cut-off saws with proper feed and speed selection.
• Maintain accurate production paperwork and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. due to export-controlled information requirements.
• Must be able to work onsite in Blacksburg, VA.
• Completion of at least one year of an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in general mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Knowledge of machine shop gauges and standard/metric tooling.
