Mold Shop Machinist-Tool & Die Maker (2nd Shift) (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. Second-shift role with a non-standard schedule as needed.

Salary: $29.77 per hour plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Manufacture machine components, tooling, fixtures, and jigs for production equipment.
• Perform machining, layout, construction, modification, and repair of assembly equipment.
• Fabricate precision components supporting automation, extrusion, and injection molding processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on production initiatives and troubleshooting.
• Document work activities, support continuous improvement, and help minimize production downtime.
• Operate machinery and handle tools and materials safely in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in machining and manufacturing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work onsite.
• Ability to work non-standard schedules when needed and safely perform physical machining tasks.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical/trade school training in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
• Industry certifications related to machining or manufacturing.
• Prior machining or machine shop experience.
