What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans aligned with regional targets.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers.
- Meet or exceed sales revenue and profitability goals for the assigned territory.
- Provide sound product recommendations and solve customer issues effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive business planning.
- Coach others on account management capabilities and contribute to complex organizational projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales or key account management experience, preferably in agriculture.
- Must be based in or willing to work within Eastern SD or Western MN.
- Proven success in building customer relationships and growing business in a defined territory.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience using CRM tools for data-driven decisions.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with middle and senior management stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
- MBA or advanced degree.
