TL;DR

Head of Health Systems Strategy (Medtech): Building and owning the health systems function from the ground up with an accent on driving provider-led patient referrals and establishing supply-side revenue models. Focus on executing enterprise sales strategies, integrating clinical workflows with EHR systems, and scaling referral marketplaces to improve mental healthcare accessibility.

Location: Must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate within 90 days. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in the New York City office.

Salary: $225,000–$283,360

What you will do

  • Build and lead the health systems function from the ground up to drive referral volume.
  • Execute enterprise sales strategies into health systems, focusing on value-based care and quality metrics.
  • Manage a geography-based field sales team for direct physician outreach.
  • Drive EHR integration (e.g., Epic) to embed clinical workflows and increase referral scale.
  • Develop multi-channel referral mechanisms and monetize partnerships with higher-level care facilities.
  • Partner with Product and R&D teams to build the necessary technology infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate within 90 days.
  • Deep expertise in health system operations, revenue centers, and behavioral health.
  • Proven experience building and executing enterprise sales motions into health systems.
  • Track record of building and managing field sales teams from the ground up.
  • Working knowledge of EHR integrations and clinical workflow embedding.
  • Familiarity with the behavioral health landscape across the continuum of care.

Nice to have

  • Experience in corp dev, partnerships, or strategy roles within health tech.
  • Experience with B2B2C business models.
  • Familiarity with the mental health or behavioral health benefits space.
