Head of Product (SaaS): Leading the strategic vision, execution, and commercial growth of a market-leading Food Safety Management System (FSMS) platform with an accent on scaling revenue to $20M+. Location: Must be based in or able to work from Camarillo, California

Salary: $190,000 - $225,000 base salary + bonus

What you will do

• Define and execute the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the FSMS product line.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Drive product-market fit and scalable growth strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment between product vision and technical execution.
• Translate complex global regulatory and compliance requirements into differentiated product capabilities.
• Establish and track key metrics including adoption, engagement, retention, and ARR growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/Head of Product).
• Proven track record of scaling a FSMS or QMS SaaS solution to $20M+ in annual revenue.
• Deep knowledge of global food safety regulatory landscapes (FSMA, BRCGS, SQF, ISO, GFSI).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and validation requirements (CSV).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment with executive-level communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools like Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (Codex) for product and programming acceleration.
• Experience in adjacent regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
