What you will do

• Lead EHS and Safety by Design initiatives across all engineering projects.
• Design and update technical drawings using CAD software.
• Analyze production data to formulate recommendations for process and machinery improvements.
• Support the maintenance department with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor mechanical system performance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Conduct regular site inspections and field observations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or Metallurgy.
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or mining environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (C1 level required for corporate communications).
• Strong passion for Occupational Health and Safety (EHS/OHS).
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding mining environment.
