Location: Hybrid – Halifax, NS. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in Canada to comply with Controlled Goods Regulations.

What you will do
- Conduct conceptual and detailed product design using 3D CAD software.
- Analyze structural and pressure-rated designs for subsea applications using calculations and FEA.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BoMs.
- Evaluate and select materials and components suitable for harsh marine environments.
- Define product test requirements and ensure designs meet quality and manufacturing standards.
- Provide technical support to cross-functional teams including production, purchasing, and QA.
Requirements
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in Canada.
- BASc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Engineering Technology Diploma with 7+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Experience with structural or high-pressure subsea design analysis.
- Ability to interpret and apply industry rules, specifications, and codes.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to have
- Experience with PTC Creo.
- Experience with integrated control systems incorporating fluid, electrical, and electronic components.
