What you will do

• Conduct conceptual and detailed product design using 3D CAD software.
• Analyze structural and pressure-rated designs for subsea applications using calculations and FEA.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BoMs.
• Evaluate and select materials and components suitable for harsh marine environments.
• Define product test requirements and ensure designs meet quality and manufacturing standards.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams including production, purchasing, and QA.

Requirements

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in Canada.
• BASc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Engineering Technology Diploma with 7+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Experience with structural or high-pressure subsea design analysis.
• Ability to interpret and apply industry rules, specifications, and codes.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Experience with PTC Creo.
• Experience with integrated control systems incorporating fluid, electrical, and electronic components.
