TL;DR

Location: Richmond, VA. Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Must have US Work Authorization; no visa sponsorship provided.

Salary: $62,000 - $85,800 (National Average) + 12% incentive

What you will do

  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims of average complexity and low to mid exposure.
  • Analyze coverage and determine the appropriate direction for claim investigation and resolution.
  • Make reserve change recommendations and alert management to potential claim exposures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Fair Claims Practices Regulations and internal handling guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, and Risk Management.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must possess or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
  • Knowledge of insurance claims, policy types, and the legal services landscape.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Valid US Work Authorization.
