What you will do

• Adjust and resolve complex mid-to-high severity claims involving all phases of litigation.
• Draft complex coverage letters, including reservation of rights and denial letters.
• Lead defense strategy on litigated files and drive litigation best practices.
• Mentor and train other claims examiners to enhance team expertise.
• Identify emerging claim trends and suspected fraudulent activity.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including legal counsel and underwriting.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional liability or specialty/financial lines claims handling experience.
• B.A./B.S. degree required (JD from an ABA accredited law school is a plus).
• Adjuster licensing required within 90 days of employment.
• Advanced knowledge of coverage, litigation processes, and negotiation.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
